In last week's news, Fall Out Boy came out with a video for Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown... Several of you may have heard the strange stories about Pete Wentz spending the day with Brendon and Spencer from P!atD, but after watching this video, hopefully it will clear things up for you. =)
On the topic of Panic! at the Disco, their new song from the Jennifer's Body soundtrack, "New Perspective" premiered it's video last week. The song itself is a new step for Panic, more like AFYCSO then their most recent cd. With a catchy tune and instrumentals, this is a great song, but the lyrics definitely aren't as great as some of their older work. The band won't be the same without Ryan's lyrics, you just can't get over that. Onto the video, it starts off nicely, but at times through it, it does seem to wander more to the movie than the actual band. Near the end it starts to get better once again, finishing up nicely once it starts rewinding back. I'd rate it 3.5/5 stars. Not their best work, but it's a bit better than average.
Also in last week, We the Kings came out with a new single, "Heaven Can Wait" on Tuesday. In my opinion, it was great, a new sound for them, but it shows a new direction the band might be going into. The first verse or so did seem unfamiliar to most of their other music, but once the chorus started, it was clear this song could only be done by We the Kings. Overall, 4/5 stars.
Soon to come, Boys Like Girls cd is set to be released this Tuesday. If you haven't already, you can get their newest single, "She's Got a Boyfriend Now" by downloading the following link:

That just makes, yet another, great show to watch. It seems that every great band is on tour this fall, but how to see them all?
